Let the Swapping Begin!

Hello from Chicago!

Things I have to swap:

Magazines

I subscribe to Vogue, Elle, Runners World, Yoga Journal, and the New Yorker. I'd love to send these to someone who'd like to read them, instead of just putting them in the recycling bin.

Books

Lots of English language books. If you don't mind used books, and you tell me what genre of book you like, I betcha I can get almost anything.

Dog Beds

This might sound funny, but I actually sew dog beds from discarded blue jeans, or corduroys. The picture is of a bed sewn from two pairs of different colored corduroys. If you tell me the approximate size of your dog, I can stitch up a bed. It will come to you unstuffed. You can either stuff it with old t-shirts and other clothes, or buy stuffing.

Dog treats
I bake dog treats, too. If your dog has a gluten allergy, I can make them with gluten-free flours. I make many different kinds (peanut butter, cheesey, bacon, and more). If you'd like some biscuits for your best friend, we can talk about what kind and what size you'd like.
Running Shirts
I run many races here in Chicago and around the Midwest. I have a huge collection of race shirts, many of which are made from technical fabric. Some of the race t-shirts are cotton, for example, this year's Chicago Marathon 2007 shirt is cotton, long-sleeved.
Chicago stuff
I live in Chicago, as I think I've mentioned a few times, so I can get postcards, Cubs stuff (baseball team--famous here), newspapers, copies of the alternative papers, etc.

I would love to swap with you. If you're interested, please email me at kariinvesuhh@yahoo.com. I could get you something you'll love from the Philippines.
